pyspedas.projects.cluster.cluster_get_codif_dist(tname, probe=None)[source]

Returns 3D particle data structures containing Cluster CODIF data for use with pySPEDAS particle routines.

Input

tname: str

tplot variable name containing the CODIF distribution data Example: ‘ions_3d__C1_CP_CIS_CODIF_HS_H1_PSD’

Parameters:

probe (str) – Spacecraft probe #

returns:

3D particle data structure(s) containing Cluster CODIF distribution functions

rtype:

list of dict

pyspedas.projects.cluster.cluster_get_hia_dist(tname, probe=None)[source]

Returns 3D particle data structures containing Cluster HIA data for use with SPEDAS particle routines.

Input

tname: str

tplot variable name containing the HIA distribution data Example: It should have the format [time, psd, theta, phi, energy]

Parameters:

probe (str) – Spacecraft probe #

returns:

3D particle data structure(s) containing Cluster HIA distribution functions

rtype:

list of dict
